What are the best AI copywriting tools?

As it's well documented and seen across pretty much every social channel, there are lots of options for AI copywriting tools. I've tried out all the tools mentioned in this article, detailing features and thoughts, and personally my favourites for good quality outputs, UX and good value for money are: Copy AI, Writesonic, and Smartwriter.

Do you believe AI tools for copy will replace writers?

No, I don't. I've been copywriting and doing content writing for a long time, and I think AI tools can play a role in copy generation. However, do I think they can or will replace writers? I'm not convinced. As a Facebook Ads and Google Ads guy, these AI tools I absolutely think are valuable for creating multiple ad variations quickly and helping with writer's block. However, I don't believe they will replace copywriters nor any blog writers. Additionally, having tried some of these tools and the output they produce, sometimes it creates even more work than just doing the hard work yourself. Great for unlocking idea generations, not as a replacement though.

Are there other AI tools that exist that do more than copywriting?

Absolutely and this is what does excites me about GPT-3 (and soon GPT-4) and any AI-powered technology that many aren't talking about too much. There are AI tools for analytics, calendars, video, outreach emails and more. I recommend checking out tools like Smartwriter which helps create copy for personalised email outreach based on user profiles, to then Reclaim which does smart calendar scheduling between teams and stakeholders. Copy AI got a lot of traction in the Twittersphere early on when AI tools were gaining a lot of attention. It's now become one of my favourite AI tools for producing ads copy for Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

Top Features:

There are numerous workflows and templates available to spit out automated content across social media, sales copy, ads copy, blog content, product descriptions, ecommerce microcopy and so many more.

Every time you prompt the AI, you get around 10 variations for you to choose from. You can favourite your preferred outputs, or simply run the engine again and again until you get an ideal output.

I've found the quality to be pretty good compared to some of the other AI copywriting tools. Many others require a bit more work around context to get better outputs, but this platform does a pretty good job even with minimal input. From a UX point of view, I really like the simplicity of this tool.
